Yesterday was a really fun day, and I was glad to be able to hang out with Monica again before my trip. We went to Oceanside, and swam for a while. Afterwards, we decided to walk over to a shop called Innerworld, to see what they had. And we found some wonderful scented oils and inscence. And after the shop, we changed back into our clothes and decided to walk around and look at all the buildings. We found an open apartment building, and walked through listening to the various conversations. And we found an empty house for sale, and steathily snuck in to check it out.
It has been really wonderful to have an old friend back into your life. I had forgotten what that could be like, since I haven't really been doing much lately. But it feels like not a day has passed since we had last seen each other. It's also great to have a friend who also enjoys dancing strangely, acting childish, sneaking into to empty houses, and walking around aimlessly. The summers end is looking up. :]
I just found out, though, that we aren't leaving until Friday morning for SB. Not that big of a time change. I'm very excited! I'm just assuming that some of the people there will be thinking, "what is she doing here?" because that music isn't really my favorite. But oh well, it's a road trip, right? Right. I also think I'm going to take a journal, in case anything crazy and worth remembering happens.
